This means our heart specialists see images of your heart that are 10 times clearer than those on older systems. DVDs of Heart TestsIf doctors are concerned about the strength and health of your heart, they might ask you to have an echocardiogram. It's a test using ultrasound waves to create a moving picture of your heart.In the past, we transferred these images to videotape. Now, all our echocardiograms are stored on DVDs, offering heart specialists and family doctors greater image clarity and more convenient access to these important tests. We perform about 7,600 echocardiograms each year and store all digital images onto a secure web server.
